The Technical Manager will lead a cross-functional development team to deliver and scale our game portal’s core features, community functionalities, and content integrations. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a proven ability to manage agile teams in a fast-paced startup environment. The manager will drive the implementation of social, loyalty, and game integration features while ensuring alignment with short-term growth and long-term retention goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Team Leadership and Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers (backend, frontend, game developers) to deliver high-quality features on time.
Foster a collaborative, Agile culture with clear sprint goals and regular retrospectives to improve team performance.
Allocate resources effectively to balance quick wins (e.g., loyalty system release) with long-term feature development (e.g., community features).
Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development for team members.
2. Technical Oversight: + Oversee the architecture, development, and maintenance of the game portal using technologies such as:
Backend: Go, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, Kafka (queued messaging), Redis (caching), MySQL (database).
Frontend: React Native for app clients.
Game Development: Cocos Creator for self-developed games.
Integration: OAuth 2.0 for external platforms and mini-game integrations.
Deployment: Kubernetes for scalable infrastructure.
Analytics: ThinkingData for data collection, insights, and operational reporting.
AI: Generative AI for game development support and LLMs for portal chatbot.
+ Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance through code reviews, testing, and best practices.+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimizing for low-latency and high-availability user experiences. 3. Project Management:
Collaborate with the product team and stakeholders to define, prioritize, and maintain the project backlog.
Manage Agile sprints, ensuring timely delivery of features like community posts, friend systems, loyalty missions, and game SDK integrations.
Break down complex, interdependent features (e.g., community functionalities) into modular releases to deliver incremental value.
Track and report progress using KPIs such as sprint velocity, feature delivery timelines, and system performance metrics.
4. Stakeholder Alignment:
Work closely with product managers, marketing, and operations teams to align development with business goals, including user retention, engagement, and revenue.
Communicate technical progress, challenges, and timelines to non-technical stakeholders, emphasizing alignment with the business goals.
Provide data-driven insights from ThinkingData to inform feature prioritization and validate business impact.
5. Innovation and Optimization:
Drive the integration of social features (e.g., sharing, leaderboards) into licensed and self-developed games to enhance user engagement.
Leverage generative AI and LLMs to streamline game development and improve chatbot interactions, reducing operational costs.
Identify opportunities to optimize infrastructure costs (e.g., Kubernetes, Redis) while maintaining performance.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required).2. Experience:
7+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or management role.
Proven experience leading Agile teams in a startup or fast-paced environment.
Hands-on expertise with at least three of the following: Go, TypeScript, React Native, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes, RESTful APIs.
Experience with game development platforms (e.g., Cocos Creator, Unity) and game integration protocols (e.g., OAuth 2.0).
Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., ThinkingData, Tableau) for user behavior insights.
Prior work with AI technologies (e.g., generative AI, LLMs) is a plus.
3. Skillset:
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring developers.
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog management.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical and business priorities.
Effective communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, profit-driven environment while maintaining focus on long-term goals.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience in the gaming industry, particularly with casual or mid-core games.
Knowledge of user retention strategies and community feature development.
Familiarity with hybrid monetization models (in-app ads, IAP).
