Technical Support Officer is responsible for implementing application systems to support the bank's business goals while striving for the highest quality. We aim to provide extensive system support by delivering reliable application solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance with a strong focus on hardware and software configuration, including following specific technologies:
Core banking system: WebLogic, Java, Exadata, Oracle PCA, Oracle Linux, OLVM, OLVH, OEM, …
Hardware: Physical server (IBM, HP, Dell…), NAS (Synology, DELL...), SAN Storage (IBM, HP, DELL...), Tape Backup (IBM, HP, Dell, Lenovo…), SAN switch (Brocade, DELL…)
Virtualization: VMware, RHV, OLV, IBM Power VM…
OS: Windows, Linux, AIX...
DB: Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, MySQL, …
Software: Backup system (Veeam, Veritas…), Service Monitoring (Dynatrace, Grafana, Elasticsearch…), Middleware (Oracle Fusion, IBM WebSphere…), Java…
Your role & responsibilitiesGeneral Duties:
1) General
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and internal teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware-related issues.
Document support requests and resolutions.
2) Technical Support
Assist with hardware and software installations, configurations, and maintenance, including infrastructure components such as Exadata and Oracle PCA, physical server IBM, HP, DELL and virtualization system VMware, OLV, PowerVM,...
Monitor and maintain system performance, including hardware components mentioned in our technology stack, like Oracle Linux.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
3) Documentation
Document hardware and software configurations, support processes, and technical solutions.
Maintain comprehensive records of support requests and configurations.
Participate in designing, building and deploying the system
4) Administrative
Administer and operate server systems (Physical and virtualization), storage (SAN, NAS), … to ensure the operation of IT systems
Maintain and upgrade existing systems (Servers, OS, DB…) as required
Install, configure, Hardening OS: Windows, Linux (Red Had, Oracle), Unix AIX, …
Install, configure, optimize, Hardening DB: Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, DB2, …
Configure, Troubleshoot and Monitor Synchronize Database (RAC, DataGuard, HADR…)
Follow the policies and procedures of the bank, including adherence to IT security protocols.
5) Policy
Ensure compliance with the bank's IT policies and standards.
Promote a secure computing environment and IT security best practices.
Your skills & qualificationsTechnical Requirements:
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Experience with hardware and software installations, configurations, and maintenance, including infrastructure hardware components like Exadata and Oracle PCA, and operating systems such as Windows, Linux, AIX, and DB: Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, MySQL
Knowledge of relevant technology stack components above for hardware and software support.
Familiarity with hardware and software configuration mentioned in our technology stack, including WebLogic, Java, Oracle DB, Oracle Linux, OLVM,...
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver high-quality support.
Certification in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco is advantageous.
Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Good written and verbal communication.
Qualifications:
Graduated from university with good grades or higher, majoring in Information Technology, computer science or other STEM fields (Math-Informatics, Mathematics,…). Ability to learn with an overall course average of good or above for Fresher level.
Have 1-3 years of experience as a Technical Support Specialist, with expertise in hardware and software configuration, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
Proficiency in the relevant technology stack components, particularly hardware and software, including Exadata, Oracle PCA, and Oracle Linux.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to assist end-users effectively.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality technical support.
Knowledge of IT security best practices.
A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to adapt to new hardware and software technologies and processes.
