Tekla Designer

Overview:We have an exciting opportunity for a Tekla Designer to join our Kingspan Team in a dynamic and fast-evolving industry.This new role will be integral part of a broader, strategic push to digitize and enhance our sales approach and service offer to end clients and designers of construction projects.The role will primarily focus on producing 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings for specific construction projects, in close collaboration with the Asia Commercial Team, using Tekla Structures, primarily for building envelopes including external walls, roofs and internal partitions.You will work closely with the Asia Commercial teams, with the Divisional Tekla Design team based in Europe and other stakeholders in Asia Pacific and Europe. Success in this role requires a combination of strong technical skills, cross-functional collaboration, a commercial mindset, and a proactive, hands-on attitude.Duties - Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:• Work closely with the commercial- and technical teams in the region on specific projects to understand project requirements.• Collaborate closely with the Divisional Tekla team, based in Europe which will support and provide guidance on Kingspan-specific Tekla modelling matters.• Develop digital models which will add value to end clients and designers of buildings, assisting the commercial team in the specification & sales process, and ultimately increase chances to secure project specification and orders. • Interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce precise Tekla models.• Develop detailed 3D models and shop drawings using Tekla Structures for building envelope construction details.• Work with relevant, mainly internal stakeholders to ensure model accuracy and constructability.• Support BIM workflows, contribute to knowledge sharing and upskilling across teams, and ensure outputs meet commercial and program requirements.• Participate in software and product training as required.• Willingness to support other tasks. • Adhere to the organization's compliance obligations, policies, processes and procedures.
