• Ensuring that all pastry items are prepared and presented to the highest standards of taste, quality, and consistency.
• Developing and implementing new pastry concepts, recipes, and menu items in collaboration with the Executive Pastry Chef and other kitchen staff.
• Ordering, receiving, and coordinating the use of all necessary ingredients, utensils, and equipment required for pastry preparation.
• Ensuring that all food safety and hygienic practices are strictly followed in the pastry section of the kitchen.
• Maintaining accurate records of pastry stock levels, food wastage, and other relevant data.
• Actively participating in the training and development of junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
• A diploma or degree in culinary arts, patisserie, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience working in a reputable restaurant or hotel pastry section with at least 2 years as a Chef de Partie.
• Strong technical knowledge of pastry preparation techniques, flavor profiles, and kitchen equipment.
• Demonstrated creativity and unique ideas for pastry menu items and dishes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
