1. Position Overview
The Assistant Sales Manager (Corporate/MICE) supports the Sales Manager in developing and managing corporate accounts, generating MICE business, and maintaining strong relationships with key partners.
This role is both operational and sales-driven, focusing on lead conversion, event coordination support, and proactive client engagement.
Ideal for candidates with early sales experience looking to grow into a full Sales Manager role.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Sales Support & Client Management
- Assist in managing existing corporate and MICE accounts under guidance of the Sales Manager.
- Handle inquiries for meetings, events, corporate stays, and group bookings.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and follow-ups for corporate/MICE clients.
- Conduct sales calls with or without the Sales Manager; participate in client meetings.
- Support with site inspections, familiarization trips, and client visits.
- Build and maintain updated contact lists, account profiles, and sales records.
B. MICE Coordination Assistance
- Work closely with Events Management for handovers, details verification, and pre-con/post-con communication.
- Ensure all client requirements (room setup, AV needs, F&B arrangements) are clearly relayed to operations teams.
- Attend selected events to support smooth execution and client satisfaction.
- Collect feedback after events and assist in developing repeat business opportunities.
C. Planning & Reporting
- Prepare weekly sales activity reports for the Sales Manager / DOSM.
- Update account production, pipelines, and business leads in CRM.
- Conduct basic competitor checks, pricing comparisons, and market trend monitoring.
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and corporate packages.
D. Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate client communication records and correspondence.
- Coordinate internal communication with Reservations, FO, F&B, Finance when needed.
- Follow up on pending contracts, deposits, rooming lists, and BEO confirmations.
- Ensure response to all corporate or event-related inquiries within 24 hours.
E. Professional Standards & Brand Representation
- Represent the hotel with appropriate grooming, professionalism, and positive energy.
- Follow Mövenpick/Accor sales standards and brand values (Trust, Relationships, Drive, Entrepreneurship).
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all business dealings.
- Support the Sales Team during hotel events, trade shows, and promotional activities.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related fields.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hotel sales or events; experience in corporate accounts or MICE is an advantage.
- Good English proficiency; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid understanding of hotel operations, meeting/event setups, and sales workflows.
- Basic negotiation skills with a willingness to develop deeper sales capabilities.
