Transport And Planning Supervisor / Manager

Overview:We have an exciting new opportunity for a Transport and Planning Supervisor / Manager to join our Kingspan based in Phu My, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province. Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice planning and logistics vision, strategy, policies, procedures to aid and improve operational performance and customer service.Duties and responsibilities:• Responsible for efficient scheduling of all production in the Phu My plant to meet customer requirements and maximise operational efficiencies (minimise block changes)• Responsible for providing efficient, cost-effective production schedules both daily and weekly to Operations, Transport, Purchasing and Customer Service Departments • Liaise with Customer Service Team on sales order status to ensure order details are available for efficient production loading and delivery of our products • Management of transport for local, interstate, imports and exports• Provide accurate volumes and capacity information for and attend/chair the daily Production Transport meetings • Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers • Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs, and loading optimization.• Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers • Recommend optimal transport modes, routes and frequency • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues • Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimisation opportunities• Ensure IT systems in place are effective, maintained and accurate• Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements• Set departmental objectives/KPIs and review and assess of ongoing performance of direct reports• Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required• Ensure that all functions under supervision operate in accordance with health, Chain of Responsibility, Safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors• Organising all export documentation• Evaluate budgets and expenditure• Respond to and investigate all logistics related issues and complaints• Forklift maintenance• Agility/ Netsuite processes – daily, weekly and monthly• Management and housekeeping of Yard• Commitment to achieving Kingspan Planet Passionate objectives. • Commitment to Kingspan Values of Integrity, Accountability, Innovation, Teamwork, and Courage. • Other tasks as required.Compliance - Shall be responsible for compliance within its area of responsibility by:• Cooperate with and support the compliance function and encouraging personnel to do the same• Ensuring that all personnel within their control are complying with the organisation’s compliance obligations, policies, processes and procedures.• Identifying and communicating compliance risks in their operations.• Integrating compliance obligations into existing business practices and procedures in their area of responsibility.• Attending and supporting compliance training activities.• Developing personal awareness of compliance obligations and directing them to meet training and competence requirements.• Encourage their personnel to raise compliance concerns and supporting them and precluding any form of retaliation.• Actively participating in the management and resolution of compliance-related incidents and issues as required.• Ensuring that, once the need for correction action is identified, appropriate corrective action is recommended and implemented.
