Business Development Executive (BD) is required to proactively conduct the following tasks, but not limiting to further tasks assigned by Managers:
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities; evaluate customers’ needs to offer appropriate solutions/services
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through different channels (cold calling, networking and social media)
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their problems and concerns to provide efficient solutions
- Expand the client list by winning new clients
- Conduct frequent reviews/reports and make proposals to the direct manager to make sure clients’ needs are met
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Daily review win/lost quotations/ clients to closely follow up with clients and ensure the assigned financial target is achieved
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
Requirements and skills
- BA of Food Technology/ Aquaculture/ Agriculture/ Business Administration
- Have profound understanding of the Food, Food-related markets and ability to expand capability to other sectors
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Have profound understanding of the providing products, services
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- 3C: Communication, Collaboration, Commitment
- Other soft skills: Critical Thinking, Networking, Teamwork, clients-oriented
- Growth mindset driven
- English is a plus
