- As a F&B Attendant, you are a key player in delivering a perfectly tailored and trustworthy service flow. You ensure that guests are being looked after and that they are satisfied when visiting the outlet. You are confident and knowledgeable when serving guests, allowing guests to trust your service delivery. You know when to take initiative by carefully observing and listening to guests, while providing services with a sense of calmness and elegance. You make guests feel welcome by always warmly greeting them and engaging guests through meaningful interaction, while also knowing when to be discreet.
- Must be familiar with all F&B service procedures and follow the proper procedures before, during and after serving food and beverages to guests in accordance to established Quality Service Standards.
- Understand the importance of service mindedness, exhibiting courtesy towards all guests and staffs.
- Work and complete tasks as arranged by Supervisor and Manager team.
- Report for duty on time, neatly groomed and in a clean and proper uniform. Do not consume any alcohol while on duty.
- Welcome & greets all arriving guests.
- Assist the hostess at leading and seating guests.
- Know how to use and communicate effectively via walkie talkie.
- Presenting the menu, answering questions and makes suggestions regarding food and service with the goal of up selling the F&B sales.
- Serve cold towels upon request on specific meals.
- Takes orders and serves water/drinks accordingly.
- Key orders into Micros POS System.
- Guide and assist guests throughout the meals.
- Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
- Monitor the quality and quantity of all food and beverage items served.
- Ensure all tables are cleared and setup according to the resort’s standards and that service stations are fully stocked and ready for operation.
- Always ensure to check customer satisfaction and effectively handle questions and complaints from customers and notify management about all incidents during the shift.
- Prints bill, check bill thoroughly before presenting to guests and accept payment.
- Thank guests as they depart, thank them for their patronage and invite them to return.
- Remember the guests’ names and address them by their names if possible.
- Send soiled linen and collect clean linen from laundry.
- Fold napkins, cold towels tidy clean and stock up side station at the end of each meal periods.
- Work with the Florist department in replacing and setting up table tops (if any).
- Collection of requisition from stores.
- Perform daily and weekly side duties.
- Completes assigned tasks with optimum efficiency with assistance of colleagues.
- Interacts closely with stewards, bartenders and housekeeping attendants to maximize effectiveness.
- Maintain regular support to the kitchen staff and Supervisor/ Manager.

High School.
Experience
Food service experience with general knowledge of restaurant operations preferred 1- or 2-years’ experience recommended
