Yarn Covering Process Engineer I

What your role will be?Collaborating with our cross functional teams, and reporting to the Senior Process, Engineer, you will: • Assist in monitoring and controlling yarn covering process parameters (tension, speed, temperature, etc.) to meet production standards. • Support troubleshooting activities for machine and process issues to minimize downtime. • Collect, analyze, and report process and quality data to identify trends or deviations. • Assist in the preparation and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical documentation. • Participate in trials/ validate for new materials, equipment, or process changes. • Support continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product consistency. • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in daily operations. • Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve operational issues. • Learn and apply Lean/Kaizen tools and basic root cause analysis methods. • Implement and maintain APS program within Yarn Covering area. • Perform other duties as assigned or requested by Supervisor.
