Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases that automation might miss. Regression & Release Validation: Lead manual regression cycles before releases and verify hotfixes in production environments. Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to analyze requirements, identify gaps, and define clear acceptance criteria before development begins. Bug Management: Identify, record, and track bugs to resolution in JIRA (or similar). Perform detailed root cause analysis on reported issues to assist developers in fixing defects. Test Automation & Maintenance (Secondary Focus – 30%) Automation Scripting: Write and maintain automated scripts for stable functionalities using existing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright). Framework Contribution: Contribute to the existing test automation framework rather than building from scratch.
