[PURPOSES]- A key player in Global Sourcing in driving Sourcing’s vision to be the industry's Most Agile, Most Competitive, Most Digitalized & Cleanest Supply Base. Support the Originals Creation team to create and execute against the designated areas of responsibility. - Manage the development process aspects related to product creation. This role requires strong management, alignment and collaboration with the Originals Product Team in Asia, to fulfill product requirements. - Drive for development, commercialization, product integrity, manufacturability, and Speed for the Originals category. [KEY RESPONSIBILITIES]- Manage assigned product development and commercialization process in collaboration with Tier1 factory personnel and technical teams. - Ensure all product milestones are achieved in a fast-paced creation process. - Seek continual improvement in processes with a goal to drive leading product process with speed and efficiency. - Provide specific technical expertise to ensure effective transition of design into samples and production while ensuring the manufacturability, material selection, material standards, development timeline and cost to target are met. - Manage in a continuous upgrade of technical applications and processes and implementation of new technology in development and engineering. - Supervise the direct development process between Headquarter /Creation Center and Tier 1 factory, ensuring that the Create to Value approach and product integrity are the priority and focus. - Influence HQ (Design, Marketing, Brand Operations, Quality) and external parties (factory Development /Commercialization & Production) and drive change using principle-centered vs policy-driven with adidas standards as the center of focus in managing/ solving conflicts. - Make day-to-day decisions within defined scope. Escalate to a higher level(s) when facing complex issues or seeing the potential impacts on business/manufacturing. - Execute defined directives. - Maintain all related product systems - Ensure all sourcing operations and practices fully comply with adidas’ Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy, adidas standards, and legal requirements, while managing the relevant processes internally and externally. - Role model leadership to foster a culture of Diversity Equity & Inclusion that strives for an inclusive workplace. [KEY RELATIONSHIPS]- Internal stakeholders: Manufacturing, Costing, Material, Planning, Product Quality, Product Testing & Compliance, E&MI - External stakeholders: Sourcing Suppliers (Tier1 factory development/ commercialization heads & teams, sample room supervisors; Tier2 / Tier3 suppliers)
