About Us In 2004, MenuWise (called MyRecipes back then) rocked the food service industry with an app which enabled users to do things they previously could only dream of. We gave New Zealand's professional chefs the power to cost any recipe in just minutes, as well as know the nutriton - something which was prone to error, was difficult, and used to take a long time. While we made headlines, and were in fact SAAS pioneers, we didn't think much of this. For us, it was just the beginning of a mission which had only just begun. Who we are seeking We are seeking a skilled NodeJS/NestJS Developer proficient in TypeScript to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our server-side application using NodeJS/NestJS.Responsibilities Server-Side Logic: Develop all server-side logic, ensuring efficient data exchange between the server and users.  Database Management: Define and maintain the central database, optimizing performance and responsiveness.  Integration: Connect the application with other web services (open third-party) and seamlessly integrate front-end elements.  Performance Optimizaton: Focus on performance enhancements, security measures, and code quality maintenance.  API Development: Create robust APIs to support application functionality.  Testing and Debugging: Conduct meticulous testing and debugging to uphold application integrity. Requirements Strong foundational knowledge: Bachelor's degree from universities such as University of Technology, Vietnam National University, etc. Knowledge and experience in backend development, preferably with Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, and AWS. 5+ years of experience in the field. Extensive experience in product environments, focusing on performance optimization. Proficiency in English is a plus. Clear CV highlighting role, contributions, and achievements. Candidates with a strong GitHub profile are preferred, and contributions to open-source projects are a plus. Preference for candidates from product-based companies.
