Identifying, evaluating,and architecting the technology roadmap for Blue Belt Technology, ensuring advanced features are central to our product differentiation, assessing their potential for strategic advantage and business impact.
Evaluate emerging upcoming technologies and trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Collaborating closely with executive leadership, business units, and stakeholders to understand their technology needs and drive technology-enabled business initiatives.
Providing strong leadership and guidance to the technology teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Accelerating innovation initiatives to enhance our products, services and processes for optimum efficiency.
Managing relationships with technology vendors and partners, evaluating and selecting the most suitable solutions and services.
Overseeing the development and implementation of scalable and secure technology systems, software solutions and infrastructure.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs the Chief of Technology , you will be responsible for: As the Leader:
Oversee the technical strategy of the company, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance the company’s competitive edge.
Monitor and optimize system infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security.
Mitigate risks related to technology breaches and security vulnerabilities.
Supervise and implement system architecture improvements to support business scalability and efficiency.
As the technical expert:
Lead the design and development of software applications based on architectural and business requirements.
Establish coding standards, create technical checklists, review code, and provide mentorship and support to development teams.
Design and optimize system architecture, including subsystems and design packages.
Write and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including design specifications and implementation guides.
Develop, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot software solutions to ensure optimal performance and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical development with business goals.
As the researcher & innovator:
Strong passion for emerging technologies and innovation.
Experience in researching, prototyping, and implementing new technologies.
Ability to lead internal R&D efforts and assess their feasibility for business applications.

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
A strong research background with recognized contributions to the community or reputable organizations is highly desirable.
National or international awards in relevant fields are a plus.
A Master’s or Ph.D. in a related discipline is preferred.
Language Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proficiency in Japanese is an advantage.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
Proven track record in scaling engineering teams and fostering a high performance culture; Being a key factor in transforming the project to achieve excellent results
Strong understanding of technology trends and the ability to integrate them into business strategies.
Technical Expertise:
Software Development: Programming principles, software design patterns, and software architecture.
Programming Languages: Java, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, Ember.js, AngularJS.
Operating Systems: Linux, CentOS, Windows, macOS.
Cloud Computing: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Development Tools: Jira for project management, Git for version control.
Architecture & Infrastructure: Microservices, serverless computing, Docker.
API & Communication Protocols: REST, WebSocket.
Databases: MySQL, Redis, MongoDB.
