About the RoleData is at the heart of everything we do at TSC. We're looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our growing data team and help accelerate our data integration, automation, and infrastructure initiatives.In this role, you’ll build and maintain scalable data pipelines that support our platform’s real-time insights and stakeholder intelligence capabilities. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Data, Backend Engineering, and Data Science teams to create a robust, efficient, and reliable data infrastructure. Your work will directly reduce manual data processing, improve integration scalability, and support the delivery of data-intensive features for our customers. Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability
Implement and manage data integration solutions for external sources, including news APIs, social platforms, and third-party datasets
Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration between data systems and application services
Maintain detailed documentation for data models, workflows, and architecture
Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all systems
Establish monitoring and alerting systems to ensure data pipeline health and reliability
Design and deliver curated datasets and BI dashboards that empower internal teams with actionable insights
Implement data governance practices to ensure accurate tagging, eliminate duplicates, and maintain high data quality across all systems
Hiring Process: The result of each interview round will be provided within 1 - 2 weeks.
1st round - Online HR interview: 30 - 45 minutes
2nd round - Online Technical interview: 1.5 hours
Final round - In-person Culture-fit interview: 1 hour

What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
3 - 8 years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles
Strong programming skills in Python (or equivalent languages)
Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Firestore, Neo4j)
Hands-on experience building and managing ETL pipelines, ideally with Airflow
Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Proficiency with cloud data warehouses, particularly BigQuery
Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD for data workflows
