Devops Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our banking project team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of AWS services, CI/CD pipeline management, data migration, and microservices architecture. This role focuses on secure, efficient data handling, leveraging AWS encryption, and managing migration activities involving new data attributes and microservices enhancements. The engineer will also collaborate on self-service, automation, and CI/CD capabilities to accelerate safe, sustainable feature delivery. Key Responsibilities:  Implement DevOps Practices: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Self-Service Configuration, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Automated Provisioning, and Automated Release Management. Ensure Compliance: Uphold professional standards and ethical practices in compliance with bank policies, regulatory standards, and internal operating procedures. Continuous Improvement: Enhance deployment and configuration processes, support technical troubleshooting, and provide technical assistance to team members. Pipeline and Batch Job Management: Use Control-M for scheduling, monitoring, and managing batch jobs across pipelines to ensure efficient and timely task execution. AWS and Data Security: Utilize AWS services (S3, Glacier) and encryption (KMS, PGP) for secure data handling and storage, ensuring alignment with banking industry standards. Data Migration: Plan and execute data migration from legacy databases to new databases, managing data accuracy and integrating new data attributes as needed.Develop processes to create or merge data into centralized databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems. Microservices Uplift: Contribute to optimizing microservices for mini-app infrastructure, focusing on deployment, scalability, and disaster recovery. AWS S3 and Glacier Management: Manage and configure S3 buckets, version control, access, lifecycle policies, and archiving strategies with AWS Glacier for cost-effective storage. Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with development, security, and data engineering teams to align DevOps practices, document processes, and support troubleshooting.
