Required Skills and QualificationsMust-Have8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years managing engineers.Strong backend engineering background in microservices, with experience in polyglot environments (e.g., Java, Go, Python)Solid understanding of frontend systems across platforms (web, mobile, Microsoft Teams apps, mini-apps).Ability to guide architecture and technical decisions across the stack.Hands-on experience supporting production systems and leading incident response.Strong troubleshooting skills across services, infrastructure, and integrations.Experience working with or leading teams adopting AI-powered tools or systems.Ability to leverage AI to improve engineering productivity and quality; understanding of AI’s impact on system design and operations.Experience leading multiple teams or owning a complex product areaDeep understanding of Agile/Scrum at scale; strong execution and delivery discipline.Proven ability to coach senior engineers and Tech Leads.Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-changing, growth-stage environments.Strong English communication skills.Strong Plus (Big Tech / Scale Signals)Experience in Big Tech or large-scale engineering organizations.Experience scaling teams or systems post–Series B/C.Experience working with globally distributed teams.Familiarity with platform thinking, reliability engineering, and quality metrics.Experience building execution frameworks (not just following them).
