Head of Development - Logistics (Gia Binh Project)

1. Work ObjectivesTo provide strategic leadership and direction for the logistics infrastructure component of the airport megaproject, ensuring the development of a world-class logistics ecosystem integrated with the airport and surrounding zones. The role is accountable for delivering logistics-related assets on time, within budget, and in alignment with regulatory, operational, and strategic expectations.2. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership• Develop and execute a comprehensive logistics development strategy aligned with theoverall airport complex and national logistics master plans.• Ensure synergy between logistics functions and other project components (airport terminal, industrial zones, commercial areas).Governance and Oversight• Establish robust governance, reporting, and control frameworks for logistics development.• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, fire safety, environmental protection, and logistics operation standards.Market Development & Strategic Partnerships• Build and manage partnerships with global logistics operators, e-commerce platforms, 3PL providers, inland ports (ICDs), and free trade zone developers.• Co-develop business models such as BOT, PPP, or concession agreements for logistics operations.Resource & Budget Management• Lead the budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control for all logistics-related development phases.• Ensure capital efficiency and financial viability through the lifecycle of logistics assets. Innovation & Sustainability• Promote the adoption of smart logistics technologies: IoT, WMS, automated warehousing, AI-driven optimization.• Drive sustainable practices: green warehousing, clean energy, carbon reduction in logistics.
