Position Description
- Position Title: Human Resources Manager
- Department: Human Resources
- Reports to: General Manager
Overview of the Position
- To support the Board of Directors in all HR matters by ensuring that HR strategies, processes, and practices contribute to overall business development.
Daily Major Responsibilities
Recruitment, Selection, and Placement
- Prepare workforce planning for the whole Company, conduct internal/external recruitment for all levels until the vacancy is filled up.
- Provide new employee orientation programs for new hires and newly promoted staff.
- Monitor probation period to integrate new hires with the team until line managers confirm pass probation.
- Provide meaningful, pertinent, innovative development programs.
- Foster an environment of life-long learning.
- Formulate, develop, update, and administer the performance appraisal system.
Labour/Employee Relations
- Provide guidance regarding employee assessment, discipline, and termination.
- Investigate harassment complaints and/or coordinate investigation; provide the Board of Directors with recommendations for appropriate action.
- Ensure application of Labour Code and Company Policy.
- Maintain contacts with related local authorities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Coordinate the company job evaluation/compensation systems.
- Maintain and be accountable for a comprehensive employee benefit program.
- Cascade and consult stores on C&B-related policies (monthly payroll, annual merit increase, 13th salary, personal income tax, C&B policies); provide feedback of stores to C&B team.
- Provide inputs for C&B team to build up competitive remuneration structure.
Human Resource Management and Administration
- Provide leadership, guidance, advice, direction, and support to the HR team members.
- Administer the annual HR operating budgets.
- Monitor the effectiveness of HR policies and recommend changes as appropriate.
- Develop and implement, with the HR team, the HR strategic plan, HR policy.
- Provide information, statistics, and reports as requested.
- Ensure development and training policies reflect the long-term needs of the Company.
- Creation and application of employee retention programs.
- Other tasks/HR projects as assigned by General Director from time to time.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education, human resource, Hospitality, or relevant field.
- Experienced in work as Human Resource Manager at least 3 years.
- Track record in designing and executing successful training programs.
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Strong report writing and record-keeping ability.
