- Maintains the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in all Food and Beverage preparation and service areas
-Ensures constant availability of clean cookware utensils and service ware
-Supports the smooth running of the kitchen department, where all aspects of the guest dining experience throughout the whole Hotel are delivered to the highest level
-Maintains the highest levels of hygiene to conform and exceed local regulations
-Ensures HACCP compliance in all areas of food and beverage production and service
- Maintains accurate HACCP records.
-Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to inquiries and problem resolution
-Delivers on plans and objectives where kitchen initiatives & hotel targets are achieved
-Manages the kitchen team fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department
-Responsible for the departmental budget, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained
-Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
-Reviews and scrutinizes the performance of the food offering, providing recommendations that will drive financial performance
-Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required
Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Yes I Can! experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations. Provides employees with the training and resources they need to maximize employee engagement and deliver Yes I Can! service and teamwork
Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality
Adhere to hotel policies and procedures
Keeps General Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
Communicate effectively with guests, co-workers and the manager.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
Maintain a favourable working relationship with all other hotel employees to foster and promote a co-operative and harmonious working environment.
At all times projects a favourable image of the Hotel to the public.
Assist in the development of the Hotel business plan and ensure an overall understanding of its departmental goals and objectives.
Attends work on time as scheduled.
Follows safety and security rules and procedures.
Abides by all Brand rules and regulations.
Adheres to all Brand policies and procedures.
Actively supports and promotes Workplace Health and Safety within the work environment.
Performs any other reasonable duties as directed by the General Manager or his/her designate.

- Hygiene / HACCP management experience
-Proven experience with excellent problem-solving capabilities
-Excellent managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style
-Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry

-Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy
