Overall job purpose:The Infrastructure Engineer role provides technical support and management of Internal SCC infrastructure systems.Main duties of job:Monitoring and maintaining Infrastructure environments to agreed service levelsManaging incidents and problems appropriately within agreed service levelsCreating and performing authorized changes to customer environments, attending CABs where necessaryPerform root cause analysis on reoccurring incidentsEnsure technical documentation is completed and updated to professional standardsScheduled maintenance and patching of Infrastructure environments as necessaryContribute to the continuous improvement programmes of all technology platforms across the datacentreContributing to delivering team performanceAdhere to all company policies and processes as communicated by line management in accordance with corporate ISO accreditation levelsTroubleshooting infrastructure-related technologies for SCC Data CentreAssist engagement with projects to ensure design of technical solutions are in line with the requirements of SCC CorporateAct as a technical escalation point for major incidents related to the service delivery from SCC Data CentreAssist with acceptance into service into operational support for all new implementations and enhancements/upgrades as well as out-of-service processes

Essential requirements:Able to work as a member of a team but also manage up, across and down where requiredAbility to troubleshoot complex, technical, multi-site and multi-disciplinary problems and incidentsAbility to use the ITIL tool to manage incidents/changes/problems ticketsGood English communication skills, both oral and written. Ideally, experience of working for an international company with travel to and from VietnamStrong background with core network and compute technologies in large-scale deploymentsMinimum 2–3 years’ experience providing support to enterprise-level clients in at least TWO of the below numbered Infrastructure areasTechnical knowledge of virtualisation technologies and VDI is a plus (vCenter, vSphere, ESXi, DRS, vMotion, HA, FT, SRM, SCVMM)Advanced technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the below technologies or variants within an enterprise-level support environment:Microsoft Server productsMicrosoft AD (Active Directory) and integrated elements/technologies such as DNS, GPO, DHCP, AD DS, RBAC, DFS, DFSR, Azure, AWS technical supportServer hardware support (HP / IBM / Dell / Cisco)MECM including patch management, build image, and application deploymentAnti-virus solutions, with key products being Defender and TrellixWeb filtering products (Zscaler)BitLockerAdvanced technical knowledge of Exchange technologies (Exchange, Office 365, ISA / TMG / Forefront)Document new and existing processesDesirable requirements:Microsoft 365 experience is a plusITIL qualification or awareness of ITIL processesExperience of technical support within public cloud-based providers (Azure, AWS)Experience with monitoring, automation, and service provider ticketing toolsets (SCOM, ServiceNow, Remedy, network monitoring)Scripting and automation knowledgeDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent preferredExperience of working in a multi-client solutions provider environmentExperience of design and delivery within Wintel, VMware/Hyper-V, Exchange, and Citrix environments
