Position Overview:The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing technical support to end-users, for computer systems, hardware, software and related technology, troubleshooting and maintaining computer systems and networks issues. IT Support Technician role ensures that technology resources are functioning efficiently and effectively to support organizational operations.IT Support Technician will also be supporting Production & Maintenance in the Operations Department. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Technical Support:o Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.o Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.o Assist with the installation, configuration, and updating of software and hardware.o Provide after-hours support, as needed 2. Hardware and Software Maintenance:o Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.o Perform routine maintenance and repairs on computer systems and equipment.o Replace or repair faulty hardware components.3. System Maintenance:o Assist with user account management.o Install and configure operating systems and software applications.o Apply system updates, patches, and security configurations.4. Network Support:o Assist in troubleshooting network connectivity issues.o Monitor network performance and assist in optimizing network infrastructure.o Set up and configure network devices such as routers, switches, and access points.5. User Training and Documentation:o Train end-users on how to use hardware, software, and systems effectively.o Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals.6. Security and Backup:o Implement and maintain data backup and recovery procedures.o Ensure systems are protected against viruses, malware, and other security threats.o Monitor and respond to security incidents.7. Inventory Maintain:o Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.o Track and manage IT equipment requests and replacements8. Support Production & Maintenance:o Support Maintenance.o Support Production. 9. Adaptability & Growth:1. Take on new tasks and responsibilities as business needs evolve.2. Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements.3. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance IT support capabilities.

Skills and Qualifications:• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software and operating systemso Windows 10/11o Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365• Exposure to networking concepts (TCP/iP, DHCP, DNS)• Microsoft Business Central (Cloud) experience a strong asset• Power BI reporting experience a strong asset• IT certifications (ie: CompTIA A+, Network+) preferred but not mandatory• Prior experience with troubleshooting hardware/software (internship, personal projects, or volunteer experience acceptable)Job Type: - Full Time- PermanentWork Environment/Physical Demands:• Extended periods sitting/standing• Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50lbs• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users (In Vietnamese) • Intermediate English (written/verbal) proficiency Schedule: - 8 hours- Day/Afternoon Shift- Monday to Friday and occasional weekends- Afterhours support as needed- Possible OvertimeAdditional Pay and Benefits:Archiving SOP: All original documents are to be archived by QA & controlled copies are to be submitted to concerned departments.
