Laundry Manager

1.2 To order cleaning supplies and uniforms within budget;

1.3 To ensure all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms;

1.4 To work effectively with the Engineering Department on Laundry equipment maintenance needs;

1.5 To set a positive example for guest relations;

1.6 To empower associates to provide excellent customer service;

1.7 To establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with associates and ensure associates do the same within the team;

1.8 To supervise daily Laundry shift operations and ensures compliance with all policies, standards and procedures;

1.9 To ensure consistent workflow to minimize peaks and valleys in production;

1.10 To manage all department functions including short and long term planning, as well as day-to-day operations;

1.11 To participate in the research, development, evaluation, and implementation of new products, services, technology, and processes to ensure a competitive position in anticipation of changing guest’s needs within the dynamic hospitality and gaming environment;

1.12 To maintain the integrity of a property wide inspection program on a regular basis;

1.13 To maintain effective communications with all hotel operational departments to effectively resolve situations impacting guest service or malfunctions of departmental equipment;

1.14 To operate smooth, efficient, cost effective operation; including labor management, supervision of all aspects of services and inventory control;

1.15 To respond to and resolve guest and/or employee complaints in a timely manner and creatively solve problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties.
