Job Title: Lean ManagerDepartment: LeanReports To: Vu Ngoc TanFLSA Status: Exempt (completed by HR)ABOUT THE POSITION: Lean Manager is a key facilitator of Lean principles within an organization. Their primary role is to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and ensure continuous improvement. They act as change agents, guiding and coaching employees through Lean transformations and fostering a culture of efficiency and waste minimizationEssential functions and key responsibilities are:• Identify areas of inefficiency, waste, and bottlenecks in processes and work with teams to streamline and improve them.• Identify and eliminate various types of waste, such as overproduction, waiting times, unnecessary transportation, excessive inventory, defects, and underutilized talent.• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging teams to seek out and implement small, incremental changes that lead to ongoing enhancements.• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and help them implement lean tools and methodologies.• Use data and metrics to analyze performance, identify improvement opportunities, and track progress toward lean goals.• Provide training and guidance to employees at all levels on lean principles, tools, and techniques to build a shared understanding and competency.• Help employees embrace change by addressing resistance, communicating the benefits of lean practices, and involving them in the improvement process.• Analyze the end-to-end value stream to identify opportunities for improvement and prioritize efforts that deliver the most significant impact.• Ensure that lean efforts align with customer needs and expectations, leading to improved product and service quality.• Collaborate with senior leadership to align lean initiatives with strategic goals and secure the necessary resources for implementation.• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining and aligning company policies with health and safety regulations.

Experience-● Minimum 5 years of experience in the same field as an individual contributor, 2-3 years in the supervisory role in a multinational manufacturing environment.Skills/personal qualifications ● Experience in change management, stakeholder management, and influencing people without authority. ● Experience in managing Lean Six Sigma projects and driving results● Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, presentation and organization skills● Ability to communication with all levels of staff, management, and senior leadership● Highly motivated to take ownership and drive initiatives with minimal direction● Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams of 2 or more high performing individuals● Capacity to think strategically and innovativelyEDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:● BSc in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent● Lean Six Sigma certification (e.g., green belt, black belt, master black belt, or other)
