SCOPE OF WORK
MICE Sales Manager reports to the Head of Sales - MICE. focuses on driving sales and revenue growth in the MICE segment. This role is essential for building relationships with clients, understanding their event needs, and converting leads into successful sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve or exceed revenue targets in the MICE sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching and analyzing market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs.
- Conduct sales presentations, prepare proposals, and close deals with clients.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company’s MICE services and expand the client base.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their MICE requirements.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, ensuring a seamless handover to the events management team after a sale is secured.
- Provide clients with ongoing support, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
3. Contract Negotiation and Management:
- Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with clients to ensure favorable outcomes for both the client and the company.
- Prepare detailed contracts and agreements that clearly outline the scope of services, pricing, and payment terms.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals and amendments as necessary.
4. Collaboration with Events Team:
- Work closely with the events management team to ensure that client expectations are met and that events are executed successfully.
- Provide detailed briefs to the events team, outlining the client’s requirements and expectations.
- Participate in event planning meetings to ensure alignment between sales commitments and event execution.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management on progress toward targets.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budget projections.
6. Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns aimed at driving MICE sales.
- Assist in the creation of targeted marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Utilize digital marketing tools and social media platforms to promote the company’s MICE services.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the MICE or hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent understanding of MICE industry trends and client needs.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales management tools.
- Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
