We are looking for a proactive leader who can manage complex projects, drive high-quality outcomes, and collaborate effectively with both internal teams and Japanese clients.
End-to-End Project Management: Lead opportunity analysis, pre-studies, implementations, and upgrades for new and existing customers.
Delivery Excellence: Oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure successful execution.
Risk & Change Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies while handling project changes effectively.
Process Optimization: Contribute to standardizing methodologies, tools, and best practices for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, including Japanese clients and steering committees.
Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and support a team of 15–50 members, ensuring their professional growth and high-level delivery.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years in IT project management for the Japanese market, handling teams of 15–50 members.
Project Management Skills: Expertise in budgeting, estimation, risk & quality management, and resource planning.
Methodology Knowledge: Proficiency in Waterfall & Scrum methodologies.
Software Delivery Experience: Successfully led complex IT projects for Japanese clients.
Language Skills: Japanese proficiency (JLPT N2+) – must be able to negotiate and communicate directly with Japanese clients.
Client Relations & Presentation: Strong ability to manage client expectations, conduct presentations, and build solid relationships.
