Manual/Playwright Automation QC Engineer (QA QC/Tester)

ABOUT THE TEAM:CodeIT AS is a leader in innovative labelling, marking, and traceability solutions, empowering manufacturers globally to enhance automation, improve data monitoring, and achieve cost efficiencies through our versatile CodeIT Enterprise™ platform. JOB DESCRIPTION:As a Quality Control (QC) Engineer, you will join our dedicated testing team, focusing primarily on manual testing (70%) to ensure the quality of our product (built with NodeJS/React, ASP.NET, and Windows Forms), with a secondary focus on test automation (30%) to improve testing efficiency. You will work in an engaging, international environment, collaborating with developers, project managers, and customers to deliver high-quality solutions for traceability and automation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manual Testing (70%): Design, execute, and document comprehensive manual test cases based on system specifications, user stories, and requirements. Perform various types of testing, including System, Integration, Performance, Load, Smoke, and Regression tests. Identify, document, and track defects to resolution using tools like Azure DevOps. Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues, ensuring product quality. Create detailed test plans, test designs, and test result reports for stakeholders. Automation Testing (30%): Automate select manual test cases using tools like Telerik Test Studio, Playwright, or similar to enhance testing efficiency. Maintain and execute automated test scripts and environments. Integrate automated tests into existing workflows, with support for CI/CD pipelines as needed. Participate in Scrum processes (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups) to align testing with project goals. Summarize and report test results to team leaders and management.
