Mechanical Project Engineer (18-Month contract)

1. Project Planning & DesignSupport the Project Manager in developing and ensuring compliance with the Project Charter.Execute basic and detailed design per Nestlé standards, local regulations, and URS.Ensure worker and operator safety is considered in both construction and operation phases.2. Technical Specifications & ProcurementPrepare engineering standards, designs, schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.Handle procurement of process equipment, piping, utilities, and develop specs for RFQs and supplier evaluation.3. Contractor & Construction ManagementSelect, qualify, and coordinate contractors, ensuring Nestlé standards are applied.Supervise installation of equipment and services piping with focus on quality, safety, and timelines.4. Execution & MonitoringTrack project progress and performance; resolve issues to avoid delays.Ensure engineering implementation meets timing, cost, quality, and URS.5. Commissioning & HandoverManage process line commissioning and successful start-up.Support Operations and Start-Up teams for a smooth transition post-installation.6. Documentation & ReportingContribute to the preparation and distribution of project documentation, including the engineering section of the final project report.
