Melia Vinpearl Hotels & Resorts - Cluster Training Supervisor

• Analyses training needs of the department by running the monthly meeting with departmental trainers.

• Assists in detecting and organising legally required or other face-to-face training, coordinating all the documentation required to obtain applicable grants or subsidies.

• Supports implementing the hotel's annual training plan and coordinates invitations, documentation, organization and other needs to ensure their success.

• Supports in organising induction sessions for new employees, coordinating their attendance and regular performance with the teams.

• Implements development plans for employees/Service Leaders.

• Actively contributes to the development, implementation and maintenance of the Training and Development strategy of the hotel.

• Ensures the training sessions are regularly and professionally conducted, including but not limited to orientation, general training, skill training topics, simulation programs and language classes.

• Coordinates with requisitioning departments in training employees following the Hotel's standards, policies and procedures. Assists staff in the skills development and evaluation of their training.

• Keeps a set of SOP and P&P for each department in the HR department. Ensures new employees are well trained in SOP and P&P of his/her department

• Reviews and establishes effective business relationships with external training suppliers for the implementation of training strategy in accordance with the business requirements of the hotel.

• Promotes and facilitates cross-training, job rotation, and multi-skilling.

• Monitors L&D KPIs

• Take the lead in organizing the hotel's social and staff activities.
