- Develops a public relations program for the hotel based on its marketing goals.
- Liaises with Marketing in targeting specific markets and developing the public relations strategies to reach these markets.
- Manages all promotion materials and collateral design and production.
- Develops media contacts, plans press conferences and other press activities. Acts as hotel’s liaison with media to promote good publicity and counteract bad publicity.
- Develops and organizes promotional activities, coordinates with departments concerned; invites VIPs and media to promotional activities; prepares and issues press releases.
- Establishes sales leads from the study of magazines, newspapers and form personal contacts; coordinates sales lead with Banquet and Sales Department.
- Disseminates corporate press releases to appropriate local trade and consumer media.
- Establishes a program for sending promotional news to trade publications on a regular basis, issues releases covering special events, promotions, etc.
- Prepares promotional press releases on personalities among guests and employees of the hotel and on newsworthy events in the hotel.
- Provides information to other departments on activities within and outside the hotel which may be useful when dealing with guests.
- Accepts clients and media complaints, requests, and inquiries and coordinates handling with departments concerned.
- Coordinates all activities with the Sales Department.
- Maintains good public relations by extending personalized service to VIPs. e.g. following up on reservations for VIPs, assisting in greeting VIPs and groups upon their arrival, sending welcome letter to VIP guests.
- Coordinates guest lists and invitations for VIP receptions, luncheons, dinners, etc.
- Maintains clipping files pertaining to the hotel(s) based on daily perusal of the media and provides same to General Manager, other departments, other hotels, corporate public relations, as appropriate.
- Maintains mailing list/ contact file.
- Maintains hotel photo library.
- Liaises with Human Resource Director and Corporate Brand Marketing on matters affecting corporate image.
- Develops hotel gifts and giveaways.
- Builds profile within local market place through attendance at various events and local market place.
- Co-ordinates hotel photography, collateral design, production and distribution in accordance with the corporate brand identity guidelines.
- Co-ordinates with Corporate Office for all brand marketing and positioning related matters on behalf of the hotel.
- Monitors awareness of competitor activities and use information when developing strategies.
- Plans and coordinates sponsorship activities.
- Performs other duties assigned by the Marcom Manager or Director of Sales & Marketing.
General Responsibility
- Presents best grooming and appearance to guest at all times.
- Protects hotel environment, facility and equipment, and save energy.
- Anticipates guest needs and reacts accordingly.
- If approached by guest with problem, takes ownership until guest is satisfied.
- Complies with all regulations and policies of relevant department and Hotel.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promotes a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
- At all times projects a favorable image of the Radisson Blu Resort Hoi An to the public.
- Works within the company’s Human Resource framework to ensure the departmental performance of the team member is productive (recruiting, training and conducting any formal performance appraisals in line with company guidelines).
- Works with Director of Finance in the preparation and management of the department’s budget.

- Demonstrates Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensures all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines and ensures your direct reports do the same
- Be aware of duty of care and adheres to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
- Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operates equipment safely and sensibly
- Initiates action to correct a hazardous situation and notifies supervisors of Security Department potential dangers
- Well knows the safety regulations and strictly carry out it
- Improves safety and takes the measures of guarding conducted by technology and combinations

- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.

- Assist in the development of the Hotel business plan and ensure an overall understanding of its departmental goals and objectives.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferably in public relations and communication in 5-star international hotel.
- Formal training in public relations, a university degree or equivalent experience in branding, public relations, marketing communications, journalism, digital marketing and/or marketing preferred.
- Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork.
- Excellent English writing skills and oral proficiency, with good command of local language - written and spoken.
- Strong personal and media network, local market knowledge is highly regarded - recognizing current trends, marketplace attitudes and company intelligence.
- Able to represent the hotel in a positive and professional light, able to interact well with media, external guests, company (management and corporate office), employees and suppliers.
- Able to perform all technical/procedural requirements of the job.
- Able to communicate well with all levels of management, employees, business community, media, VIPs.
- Discreet and can be trusted with confidential information and handle difficult media inquiries with finesse.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel occasionally
