- Obtaining quotes in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Pricing of purchase requests and determining appropriate supplier to obtain best quality and price.
- Arranging couriers for goods urgent requisition, deliveries and petty cash.
- Sourcing items which are unobtainable from regular supplier.
- Posting orders to Purchasing software system and producing purchase order.
- Placing orders with supplier to ensure timely delivery to satisfy hotel requirements.
- Follow up on outstanding orders and advising operating departments of status.
- Perform other duties related or unrelated to the purchasing position as directed by purchasing manager.
- Understand and adhere to relevant workplace health and safety standards.
- Adhere to all Marriott food safety procedures and keep a register of all suppliers and follow up with regular supplier premises inspections.
- Align management style, working practices and conduct with Sheraton Danang's Vision, hotel policies. To comply with Sheraton Code of Conduct at all times.
