QA Automation Technical Manager, Embedded Video AI

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Physics, or equivalent experience from a technical engineering discipline.Experience leading a small team, evaluating performance and managing direct reports successfully.7+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing a team of quality automation engineers.Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive quality assurance strategies and automation frameworks for complex software and hardware systems.Expertise in developing and authoring Python, C++, and Javascript automation software to test individual software components, web-enabled embedded hardware, IoT, and/or Robotics.Strong background in cloud-connected applications with platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.Experience with AI, machine learning, and computer vision technologies, and their application in quality assurance.Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, think critically, and drive timely resolution of critical quality issues.Highly organized, creative, and curious, with the ability to multi-task and thrive in an autonomous, empowering, and exciting environment.
