We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our R&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive system testing and manual testing efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies and proficiency in using JIRA for defect tracking and test case management.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications, focusing on system-level functionality and integration.Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and system testing on various software components and features.Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using JIRA, ensuring clear and concise defect reports with steps to reproduce.Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements, clarify specifications, and provide timely feedback.Participate in review meetings for requirements, design specifications, and test plans to ensure thorough test coverage.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process, methodologies, and tools.Provide regular updates on testing progress, defect status, and overall quality to project stakeholders.Assist in the reproduction and verification of reported issues from internal and external sources.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field2- 8 years+ of hands-on experience in manual, system, and integration testingProven experience as a QA Engineer or Manual Tester, with a strong focus on system testing.Demonstrated experience testing largescale, high-availability, distributed systems involving both hardware and software componentsProven track record with defect logging, triage processes, and working effectively with development teamsWorking knowledge of test management tools (Jira, TestRail or similar)Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for collaboration and reportingExperience working in an Agile development environment (Scrum/Kanban)Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and testing effectivenessUnderstanding of test automation methodologies and principlesFamiliarity with security, surveillance, or physical access control systems
