- To sell our conference and banquet facilities.
- To be a part of the banquets sales proactive and reactive team. Proactive and reactive means they can be stationed at the banquet sales office and also do field jobs in order to achieve targets and will be responsible for achieving targets given to them.
- Ensure policies and procedures are in place and adhered to in order to maximize banquet and/or conference space availability.
- Has full knowledge of F&B products and services.
- To handle incoming leads to the Groups and Banqueting Department in accordance with the clients requirements.
- To formulate and reply to the customer with a written Quotation for their proposed event within 24 hours.
- Menu planning in case of private dinner parties. Making suggesting to clients in term of type of sound, courses in menu selection, décor selection.
- Providing the maximum to the client at the minimum cost to the hotel.
- To suggest various ideas of the banquet operation and promotions. Discussing various promotional campaigns.
- To maintain and ensure the Opera Sales & Catering system updated at all times with all relevant and related information.
- To ensure daily communication with banquet operation team and review the daily guidelines for continuous improvement process.
- To keep all administration works up to date such as filling and trace files.
- To assist Director of Sales and Marketing in achieving banquet in house catering budget through the year.
- To achieve positive feedback on banquet functions by monitoring both guests’ feedbacks and guests’ comments.
- To attend all regular meetings held by the Director of Sales and Marketing and exchange feedback and ideas.
- To ensure a close relationship between sales team and banqueting office in order to increase banquet sales and meet all promises made to the guest.
- To participate in all sales activities related to the Banquet or Food & Beverage Department.
- To inspect the banquet room and outside catering prior to and during the function and assure that guest specifications are met. To assure also that company standards are met with regards to cleanliness, preparation/ mis-en-place, appearance of personnel, service standards, etc.
- To be available during all banquet functions to meet the organizer and to recognize & meet VIP's and regular guests when walking into functions.
- To maintain a close working relationship with and ensure proper communication between F&B and related departments.
- To ensure that all subordinates follow the policies and procedures introduced in the hotel.
- To monitor the competitor's products in terms of service standards equipment's available, facilities, etc. and be aware of their business. Keeping a track of competitors’ promotions.
- To make weekly telephone calls to both current and potential clients.
- To attend relevant events, functions, luncheons as deemed necessary to ensure our business relationship is maintained.
- To handle other work assigned by the Banquet Sales Manager or by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
• Diploma/ Certificate in Hotel Management; Business Administration preferred.
• 1 - 2 years experience on the same position.
• Good at writing and communication in English.
• Excellent skills In Customer Service and Public Relations.
• IT skills: good in Microsoft office.
