Senior AI Specialist (Head of AI)

Education & Background:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 10–15 years of experience in the technology industry, with at least 10 years of deep specialization in AI, including areas such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI, and AI agents.At least 3-5 years in a Senior leadership role such as CTO, Head of AI, or equivalent, with proven experience in developing technology strategies, managing technical teams, and collaborating with international partners.Technical Expertise:Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face, etc.Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and AI agents, including design, training, and deployment in production environments.Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.Solid understanding of data engineering, data governance, and model lifecycle management.Experience with AI ethics, fairness, and responsible AI practices is a plus.Leadership & Communication:Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams, manage cross-functional projects, and drive innovation.Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with a business-oriented mindset.Excellent communication skills in English (required); Japanese language proficiency is a plus.Experience working in multinational environments or with Japanese partners is highly preferred.
