Senior Backend Developer (MPC Crypto Wallet Project)

Position OverviewRegen Tech is building the next generation of secure, privacy-preserving digital wallets using Multi-Party Computation (MPC). We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to help architect, scale, and secure the core infrastructure of our platform. This role sits at the intersection of cloud engineering, cryptographic coordination, and cross-platform system design, working closely with experts across mobile, firmware, and cryptography teams.You will lead and contribute to the development of services that orchestrate secure operations between cloud systems, mobile clients, and hardware devices, ensuring high performance, auditability, and fault tolerance. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of scalable cloud-based backend services to support MPC-driven wallet functionality. Coordinate architectural decisions between cloud, mobile, and hardware teams, ensuring seamless integration of cryptographic protocols. Define and implement secure authentication, transaction workflows, key orchestration logic, and encrypted communication flows. Manage system observability, cloud performance, CI/CD pipelines, and security posture across environments. Participate in or lead engagements with internal and external security auditors. Mentor junior engineers and potentially build/manage a backend/cloud team. Guide long-term cloud infrastructure strategy, especially around Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes-based environments.
