The PositionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer (Cloud) to join our team in Trondheim (Norwegian). In this role, you will architect and develop scalable cloud services that power our industrial software platform.Key Responsibilities
Design and implement microservices using Python and Go
Build and maintain cloud-native applications on Kubernetes
Develop scalable data pipelines for timeseries and graph data
Contribute to system architecture decisions
Lead implementation of cloud infrastructure best practices
Collaborate with data science team on analytics pipeline integration
Mentor junior developers in cloud native development

Skills & Experience
Expert-level Python and Go programming
Strong experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures
Experience with microservices and distributed systems
Knowledge of timeseries databases and graph databases
Track record of designing scalable cloud architectures
Strong DevOps mindset and infrastructure-as-code experience
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Fluent English required, Norwegian is a plus
