Senior Data Engineer

About the roleWe are seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain our robust data platform. In this role, you will be responsible for developing scalable data integration solutions that combine data from various sources including relational databases, NoSQL databases, third-party APIs, and other data sources. This platform serves as the foundation for our data-driven decision-making process, enabling the organization to make faster and more informed business decisions.As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including data analysts, product managers, business development managers, finance teams, and other business teams to understand their data needs and deliver high-quality data solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring data reliability, accessibility, and maintaining data governance standards across the organization. This role reports directly to the Head of Data. What you’ll do Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable data platform architecture that ensures high availability, fault tolerance, and optimal performance. Develop and maintain automated data pipelines to streamline data delivery processes, reducing time-to-insight for stakeholders and increasing operational efficiency. Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including functional and unit tests, to ensure data pipeline reliability and data quality. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process enhancements: automating manual workflows, optimizing data delivery mechanisms, and re-architecting infrastructure for enhanced scalability. Architect and implement infrastructure optimized for data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse data sources, leveraging AWS and GCP cloud technologies and services. Develop sophisticated analytics solutions and data products that leverage our data platform to provide actionable business insights, focusing on key metrics such as customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and business performance. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Executive leadership, Engineering, Product, Data, and Design teams to address technical challenges and support their data infrastructure requirements. Ensure data security and compliance with privacy regulations and healthcare standards through proper data governance.
