Senior Engineer - Front End

This role will focus primarily on the development of our map site, account management system, and other websites to support and showcase what3words’ offerings. You will also work closely with our product and UX teams, receiving and inputting on designs and feasibility checks, and bringing fresh ideas to make what3words a better solution. You will have good experience of building sleek user interfaces on top of RESTful web APIs, using React, JavaScript, CSS. You will be able to work independently, self-motivate, collaborate well with others and keep calm under pressure. What we expect:Strong experience with ES6, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS.Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English.A passion for software engineering and continuous learning.Solid track record of building responsive sites for desktop, tablet and mobile. Bonus points for:Knowledge of Next.js, Google Maps or Leaflet, GIS systems, AWS, Kubernetes, or similar systems.Experience of Agile working environments.The role is based in our centrally located HCMC office. While you can work from the office five days a week if preferred, our Engineering team can choose to work up to two days a week from home.
