This is not a role for the average manager; we're looking exclusively for extraordinary talent who can drive high-performing engineering teams to deliver world-class technology. You'll lead a talented team of engineers across frontend, backend, and ML specialties, establishing engineering excellence while maintaining our rapid pace of innovation. Your leadership will directly impact how hundreds of millions of players discover and experience games through our AI-powered platforms. Core Responsibilities ● Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team of 6-9 engineers working on cutting-edge AI technologies ● Drive sprint planning, execution, and delivery of our product roadmap with exceptional velocity ● Establish and refine engineering processes that maintain quality while enabling rapid iteration ● Oversee technical standards and architectural decisions across our AI-driven platforms ● Collaborate with the CTO and CPO to translate business requirements into technical implementations ● Identify and eliminate blockers to progress, keeping delivery timelines on track ● Foster a culture of engineering excellence, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing ● Conduct effective 1:1s and performance reviews to develop and retain top talent ● Participate in technical decisions for our agentic workflows and AI systems

Required Experience ● 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role ● Strong experience with modern technology stacks, ideally including Golang or similar backend technologies ● Track record of managing engineering teams that consistently deliver high-quality software on time ● Experience implementing engineering processes in a fast-paced environment ● Demonstrated ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities ● Experience managing senior engineers and fostering their growth ● Understanding of AI/ML integration and workflow systems ● Experience with agile development methodologies and sprint management ● Professional English communication skills (Vietnamese language skills welcome) Essential Qualities ● Leadership presence that inspires confidence and commitment from technical teams ● Strategic thinking balanced with operational excellence and attention to detail ● Strong communicator who can translate between technical and business stakeholders ● Data-driven approach to measuring team performance and productivity ● Ability to make difficult decisions and trade-offs to maintain delivery momentum ● Problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment ● Passion for building and developing high-performing engineering teams ● Comfort with ambiguity and rapid change in a growing company Interview Process Our thorough 3-week interview process is designed to evaluate both your leadership abilities and technical acumen: 1. Leadership & Delivery Excellence ○ Panel with senior engineers on technical leadership ○ Solution presentation to a real engineering challenge ○ Team scaling and management scenarios 3. Executive Assessment ○ Vision alignment with CEO ○ Technical strategy discussion with CTO ○ Culture fit and mutual expectationsWe focus on evaluating your leadership capabilities, technical credibility, delivery excellence, cultural fit, and growth potential throughout this process. Our goal is to create a two-way dialogue that helps both of us determine if this critical role is the right fit. We aim to complete the entire process within 3 weeks and provide timely updates at each stage. Note: This role is designed for elite engineering managers. If you're not consistently recognized as a leader who can build and drive high-performing technical teams, this position is likely not a good fit. We're looking for candidates who can demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities and deliver outsized impact.
