We're seeking an experienced Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our engineering team and drive end-to-end development of our vehicle inspection platform. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Pave.ai, you'll architect scalable backend services while crafting responsive, intuitive user interfaces that deliver exceptional experiences. You'll work across the entire technology stack to build features that process millions of vehicle inspections, from designing APIs and data models to implementing pixel-perfect UIs that delight dealerships, fleet operators, insurers, and vehicle marketplaces globally. Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Stack DevelopmentDesign and implement complete features from database to UI, ensuring seamless integration across all layersBuild scalable backend services and create responsive frontend applications with modern JavaScript frameworksArchitect RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints that power web applicationsImplement real-time features using WebSockets for live vehicle inspection updatesEnsure consistent user experience across different platforms and devicesFrontend ExcellenceCollaborate closely with UI/UX teams to translate high-fidelity designs into pixel-perfect, maintainable codeBuild reusable component libraries using React.js with TypeScript, ensuring framework-agnostic design principlesLeverage Tailwind CSS and modern CSS methodologies for consistent, performant stylingImplement and maintain component documentation using StorybookOptimize frontend performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth interactionsEnsure WCAG compliance and accessibility standards across all user interfacesBackend ArchitectureDesign and develop scalable backend services using modern server-side technologiesBuild robust data pipelines for processing vehicle inspection images and metadataImplement event-driven architectures using message queuing systemsDesign efficient database schemas and optimize queries for both SQL and NoSQL databasesIntegrate AI/ML models for computer vision and automated inspection analysisEnsure API security, rate limiting, and proper authentication/authorizationTechnical LeadershipLead architectural decisions spanning frontend and backend systemsMentor junior developers on full-stack best practices and code qualityConduct thorough code reviews across the entire technology stackDrive technical documentation and knowledge sharing initiativesCollaborate with product owners to define technical requirements and feasibilityChampion engineering excellence and establish coding standardsDevOps & Quality AssuranceImplement comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, and E2E testsSet up CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deploymentMonitor application performance and implement observability solutionsEnsure high availability and fault tolerance across all servicesImplement security best practices throughout the stack
