Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Purpose: QA Engineer’s responsibilities include designing and conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly, meets the business needs and quality standards. Responsibilities:• Analyze requirements, specifications, and business use cases in order to create test cases and test scenarios.• Liaise actively with System Analyst for any required clarification.• Create detailed, well-structured test cases and checklists.• Execute test cases to ensure feature enhancements are high quality.• Identify, file and track defects to closure.• Conduct functional, regression, sanity & non-functional testing (having experience with API & security testing is a plus).• Work closely with various teams to ensure timely delivery for both testing and requirement analysis.• Communicate on testing progress and quality status of the product.• Mentor and guide junior QA team members in best practices and testing methodologies.• Review and refine QA processes to improve efficiency and product quality.• Engage in risk assessment and prioritize test activities according to risk levels and product impact• Support the team in analyzing test results, identifying trends, and making strategic quality improvement recommendations.
