We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Manager – Pharmaceutical to lead and drive our regional/national sales strategy, team performance, and revenue growth. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market, and a proven ability to build high-performing sales teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pharma sales (especially ethical, branded, or specialty products) and will be responsible for executing go-to-market strategies, building customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and implement sales plans to meet company goals for product promotion, market penetration, and revenue growth.Analyze regional sales performance and adjust strategies to achieve or exceed targets.Work closely with marketing and medical affairs to align sales messaging with product positioning and scientific data.Team LeadershipLead, train, and mentor a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Medical Representatives (MRs), or Territory Managers.Monitor field performance through joint fieldwork, performance metrics, and KPIs.Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent.Market & Customer ManagementEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), doctors, hospitals, distributors, and pharmacies.Understand therapeutic areas, disease states, and product-specific knowledge to support sales teams in customer interactions.Stay updated on market trends, competitor products, and regulatory changes.Reporting & ComplianceProvide accurate sales forecasts, territory performance reports, and competitor insights to senior leadership.Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Oversee ethical promotion practices and proper documentation of activities.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA in Marketing/Pharmaceutical Management is a plus).7–10 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.Proven track record in leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets in ethical/specialty/generic product segments.Strong network within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in pharmaceutical sales.
