Senior Search Engineer

About the Role We’re looking for a skilled Search Engineer to help us build and optimize high-performance search systems. You’ll work on improving relevance, integrating ML models, and scaling search infrastructure that directly impacts user experience. If you’re excited about search quality and system efficiency, we’d love to talk. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize the Elasticsearch infrastructure.  Analyze search logs and user behavior to continuously improve query relevance, ranking, and retrieval quality.  Work closely with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into the search pipeline (e.g., semantic search, re-ranking, personalization).  Implement advanced search features such as autocomplete, typo correction, synonym expansion, query understanding, and faceted search.  Build and scale high-performance search systems with low latency and high throughput.  Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define search quality metrics (CTR, nDCG, recall, etc.) and deliver measurable improvements.
