Star Quest - Mobile Engineer (Android, iOS)

Key Responsibilities:  Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Kotlin/Java code for Android applications/Swift code for iOS applications under guidance.  Assist in implementing new features and user interfaces based on design specifications.  Participate actively in code reviews.  Help debug and resolve issues reported.  Learn and apply Android development best practices and patterns (e.g., Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, MVVM), or UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, etc. for iOS development. Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, QA engineers, and product managers.  Contribute to technical documentation relevant to the Android/iOS codebase.  Learn about the Android/iOS ecosystem, development tools (Android Studio/Xcode), and Play Store/app store submission process..  Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field  Upto 2 years of experience (internships, personal mobile projects published on GitHub or the Play Store are highly valued).  Foundational Knowledge:  Strong understanding of fundamental computer science concepts.  Solid programming fundamentals (object-oriented programming concepts).  Demonstrable interest and basic proficiency in Kotlin/Swift. Show us your projects!  Familiarity with version control (Git).  Basic understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and Material Design.  Exposure to RESTful APIs and mobile networking concepts is a plus.  Skills:  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.  Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment.  Good communication skills.  Passion for mobile development and the Android/Apple ecosystem.  Attention to detail and commitment to writing quality code.  Fluency in English.
