Supply Chain Manager

Role Summary:As a member of the leadership team, you manage the end-to-end supply chain function for Lesaffre Vietnam. This includes all aspects of the supply chain from S&OP, PPIC (production planning & inventory control), purchasing, and logistics & warehouse operations.You will optimize supply chain planning (both demand and supply), material management (both raw and finish goods), domestic distribution, export-import management, warehouse operations, as well as related service providers while maintaining lean inventory, and ensuring cost & service competitiveness.You will directly manage the supply chain team and ensure right people at right positions, in line with changing business needs. Ensure high engagement and motivation levels of the team on an ongoing basis, and lead various efforts towards building a performance team like skills development, coaching, job rotation, etc.Main Responsibilities:1. Sales & Operations Planningo Lead the S&OP process, develop and stabilize necessary meeting cadence to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, manufacturing, customer service, finance, etc.)o Plan across various levels of granularity both in terms of time horizon, product and customers.o Support initiatives like Finance for the Future (3F) through effective S&OP process, and be a key contributor of profitable growth of Lesaffre Vietnam business.2. Logistics & Distributiono Manage domestic transport and distribution of the finish good to the customers across Vietnam.o Manage export and import processes including compliance & timeliness of relevant documents in line with regulatory requirements as well as customer specific requests, when necessary.o Develop and qualify a good base of logistics partners (3PL), with continuous and periodic evaluation via clearly defined SLAs.o Study the logistics landscape in Vietnam, together with Lesaffre’s footprint and develop a cost-effective logistics strategy keeping customer service at it’s core.3. Warehouse and Inventory Management:o Oversee the operations of the raw material, spare parts, and finished goods warehouses.o Manage warehouse while ensuring RM/PM are stored and transported in line with required conditions. Implement daily/weekly cycle count and month end stocktaking, analyze inventory gaps, define corrective and preventive actions, and hold key stakeholders accountable until gap closure.o Ensure warehouse activities comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, cleanliness, and quality requirements (e.g., Halal, ISO, 5S).4. Purchasing:o Develop and execute the procurement strategy to source materials, goods, and services that align with business needs at the lowest possible cost.o Review purchase orders for accuracy and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms.o Ensure purchase orders are issued in compliance with company policies and procedures.o Maintain comprehensive records of contracts, purchase orders, and supplier relationships.o Evaluate, select, and manage key supplier partnerships to drive continuous improvement in price, quality, and delivery.o Collaborate with departments to receive equipment and oversee acceptance upon supplier delivery.5. Others:o Prepare and manage the departmental operational budget, including CAPEX planning and control.o Analyze supply chain data and trends to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.o Participate in management meetings to align supply chain strategies with the overall business objectives, and assist with other tasks or projects as assigned by the General Director.o As a key member of the supply chain team across APAC, contribute to various benchmarking efforts and knowledge sharing with other supply chain leads and colleagues in the region.
