Position Objective: The primary objective of the IT Data Analyst and Application Support role is to support and drive the data-driven transformation at Autoliv Vietnam by building, managing, and maintaining a centralized data repository (Data Hub) to facilitate data accessibility and analysis for business users. The position also aims to provide timely and effective application support to ensure seamless business operations by acting as the first point of contact for all local application-related issues, collaborating with regional and global IT teams to deliver efficient solutions and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.Position Scope: The IT Data Analyst and Application Support role is responsible for managing the local Data Hub, enabling data-driven decision-making through analytics tools, providing application support, ensuring data security and integrity, and collaborating with regional and global IT teams to drive efficient business operations at Autoliv Vietnam.Tasks/ Responsibilities: Data Hub Management & Data Governance: • Collaborate with the regional IT team to implement, maintain, and support the local and regional Data Hub. • Ensure data accuracy, security, privacy, retention, and backup within the Data Hub. • Serve as the primary point of contact for business requirements or issues related to databases, data lakes, data warehouses, ETL processes, and APIs. • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and global data protection laws (e.g., GDPR). Data Analytics & User Empowerment: • Train and coach local business users on accessing data and utilizing tools such as Power BI and Excel for data analysis. • Occasionally develop complex data analytic reports, when necessary, especially when users require additional support. Application Support & Incident Management: • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by providing professional and timely support to business users. Provide on-call or on-site support when necessary. • Provide first-line support for issues related to local systems and applications. • Proactively follow up with regional or global IT teams to resolve issues related to regional/global applications. • Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues, preventing future incidents, and improving system performance. • Monitor system performance and escalate any concerns to the IT Country Manager. Cross-team Collaboration & Project Management: • Lead and collaborate with regional, global IT teams, and external developers for application development and enhancements. • Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes with stakeholders, ensuring that project timelines are met. Continuous Improvement & Innovation: • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in data systems and applications. • Implement data backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity in case of a system failure or data loss. • Continuously evaluate processes, and applications, identifying areas for improvement and recommending innovative solutions. • Explore opportunities for automation in repetitive tasks related to data management, reporting, and support. Training & Development: • Develop and deliver training programs for business users on data tools like Power BI, Excel, and internal applications. • Continuously pursue self-development by learning new IT trends, tools, and methodologies to bring added value to the organization. Other Responsibilities: • Perform other tasks as assigned by the IT Country Manager.
