ABOUT THE POSITION: ● The Sourcing staff is responsible for sourcing appropriate sourcing including new and existing sourcing, ensuring that the selected sourcing meets the company's requirements for quality, price and schedule.● The sourcing staff under the direction of the sourcing manager is responsible for working with suppliers to develop new products or improve existing products to meet the needs of their customers. meet the production needs of the company.Essential functions and key responsibilities are:● Following up the department's plan, submit a request for Quote (RFQ) to vendors, negotiating price, quantity, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers.● Generating quote comparisons and report to the sourcing manager● Negotiating contract terms with suppliers under the guidance of supervisor● Participates in collaborating with relevant departments to evaluate the performance of current suppliers and identify areas for improvement.● Following up the timeline of new components development to ensure lead time and quality that the company requires.● Carry out the payment procedures for purchasing fixed assets such as molds after the products are qualified● Participates in searching for suitable new suppliers, new materials to replace the current ones under the guidance of the manager.● Constantly trying to find opportunities to cost down as well as build a quality, potential and economical sourcing system.● Comply with daily performance metrics in managing incoming sourcing activity.● Receive information about design changes to send to suppliers and confirm the necessary quotation and mold repair time. Coordinate with related departments to ensure improved goods are on schedule and do not affect production● Perform other duties as manager assigned.

Production Operations (Buy & WIP), PO, and Vendor Management - Work directly with vendors to maintain accurate and timely production operation data in the systems- Understand the logic and lead times of the Buy & Production and Time & Action (T&A) calendars- Communicate with vendors and cross-functional teams (US Planning, Sourcing and HK Production Planning) to proactively support execution of manufacturing activities- Identify potential delivery risks, outline possible root causes, work with vendors on solutions to eliminate or mitigate risks at the earliest stage- Collaborate with other functional departments (Sourcing/QA/Logistics) to solve production and delivery related issues- Be a Subject Matter Expert for the vendor community on production planning processes/rules; communicate and monitor any special shipping needs for specific customers (preferably Wal-Mart, Target USA, Costco etc...)- Act as a gatekeeper to ensure vendors’ commitment to all required production planning processes / rules Reporting and Analytics- Prepare and deliver timely and accurate production risk reporting and negotiate better deliveries where possible- Conduct analysis on delivery performance and drive for improvement to meet KPI - Monitor timely shipment booking request and shipment closure utilizing automated reporting for designated vendorsOperational Improvement Projects- Assist in documenting process and building training materials - Actively participate in system / reporting enhancement projects to strengthen operational efficiency- Partner with team members from other offices and other key related stakeholders on ad-hoc projects- Identify tools or reporting capabilities to further optimize data quality and automate reporting within the Production Planning department.

Productivity and New Process/Product Development 1. Confirm Sample for supplier before quotation 2. Ensure that specifications are clearly defined and documented prior to mass production. 3. Cooperate with R&D department to ensure that all necessary testing is completed and qualified prior to mass production. 4. Control quality from the initial stage to the finished product. Ensure product quality before delivery to customers, including ready-made products, samples, and replacement parts. 5. Implement sample production at the supplier's site as required before mass production.SOP & system 1. Update product specifications for all customers and prepare necessary documents to train workers on new information. Ensure quality objectives are met and that products also comply with company specifications. 2. Establish SOPs to ensure a smooth quality management process. 3. Improve the quality management system to detect defects faster and track corrective actions more efficiently. 4. Report quality inspection status to direct management. 5. Document quality control procedures for customer-approved products and transfer them to the QC team. 6. Obtain necessary information from suppliers and implement it for the QC team. 7. Be responsible for the complaint tracking system, preventive actions, quality improvement system (studying non-conformance cases and making improvements), quality defect statistics system, and driving relevant stakeholders (Production Supervisors, Procurement) to achieve better quality defect outcomes. 8. Track actions taken by relevant departments regarding Non-Conformance Reports (NCR). 9. Handle quality issues internally and with customersWorker training 1. Stablish a quality training program for all factory workers to enhance their knowledge of good and defective products and proper rework methods. Ensure accurate management of data and reports (incoming inspection reports, in-process, output, and final inspection reports). 2. Assign tasks and evaluate the performance of the QC team.Supplier 1. Assist in sourcing and evaluating supplier capabilities and their compliance with labor standards for the procurement department. 2. Support and encourage suppliers to deliver products on time.
