We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and optimize our Oracle database infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, high availability configurations, and cloud migrations. You will be responsible for ensuring 24/7 database availability, security, and scalability while supporting business-critical applications and working closely with development teams.1. RESPONSIBILITIES:Database Administration & OperationsManage, configure, and maintain Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c, 18c, 19c, 21c, and other enterprise Oracle database versons.Ensure high availability, security, and performance tuning of production and development databases.Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime.Manage database backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN, Data Guard, and Flashback technologies.Performance Tuning & OptimizationOptimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, and database parameters to improve system performance.Perform AWR, ASH, and ADDM analysis to diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks.Implement partitioning, compression, and parallel processing techniques for large datasets.High Availability & Disaster RecoveryDesign and implement Oracle Data Guard (Physical & Logical Standby), Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters), and GoldenGate for high availability and disaster recovery.Develop and test failover and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.Database Automation & Cloud MigrationAutomate database tasks using PL/SQL, Shell scripting, Python, or Ansible.Optimize storage, networking, and compute resources for on-premises Oracle deployments.Security & ComplianceImplement database security best practices, including TDE (Transparent Data Encryption), auditing, and access control.Ensure compliance with GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other industry regulations.Others RoleProvide technical guidance to developers on database design, data modeling, and query optimization.Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to integrate databases into enterprise environments.Document database architecture, configurations, and best practices for internal teams.
