Duties may include but are not limited to:
• To arrive at work on time in the uniform provided, ensuring a neat and tidy appearance, according to the employee handbook.
• To have complete knowledge of the hotel product, including room types, rates, relative features and facilities, food and beverage outlets/promotions, spa, fitness center, etc.
• To develop a close and harmonious working relationship with housekeeping and all hotel departments.
• Attend training and meetings as required.
• To anticipate guest needs and handle guest inquiries in a helpful and attentive manner.
• Have complete knowledge of hotel policies and procedures.
• Report health, safety, and security hazards to the assistant manager-front office, and/or manager on duty.
• Ensure the front desk is clean and tidy at all times.
• To perform check-in, check-out, and cashiering for hotel guests.
• Suggest alternatives to meet customer needs in terms of product features and benefits.
• Offer information and services where appropriate.
• Thank customers and invite our guests to return.
• Monitor daily arrivals ensuring all requests are carried out wherever possible and all realistic expectations are met and ensure all reservations are honored.
• Complete all shift duties as outlined on the shift checklist prior to the end of the shift.
• Handle reservation calls after hours, ensuring guest needs are met, in a helpful efficient manner, input into the system as per the procedure.
• Ensure credit policy is adhered to at all times, and any variance is reported to the manager on duty immediately.
• Ensure float is maintained at a constant level as issued by the accounting department.
• Carry out requests as directed by hotel management.
• Issue safety deposit boxes to hotel guests ensuring access and release forms are completed per hotel procedures.
• Receive, handle, and relay messages, mail, voice mail, and faxes in an efficient, timely manner as per hotel policy.
• Any other duty that may be assigned by management.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset or Graduates bachelor degree and/or diploma in hotel or other related field.
• New graduate who taken internship in related field or at least 1-year experience in front office
• Good inter-personality skill and outgoing, friendly
• Strong in English communication skill
• Strong in problem solving skills, and execution of work
