Assists the Director of Butler Services in management of all activities and events including related to:
- Manage all aspects of the Club InterContinental Lounge/Butlers/Guest Relations/ Villa Services function to achieve the highest possible guest satisfaction to Club InterContinental guests/IHG Rewards Club/Ambassador members/VIPs and Villa guests of the resort.
- Oversees and manages all aspects of Club InterContinental Lounge for Front Office, Housekeeping, Butler Service, and Food and Beverage services. She/he also assists the Director of Butler Services with administration and training for all staff members, mid-year review and year-end review.
- Assist with reports on operational and personnel issues, including budgets, departmental expenses as well as updates and changes made to staffing, service sequences, promotions, events, challenges and successes to the hotel management.
- Maintain excellent relations and communications with the team members as well as all other hotel departments.
Detailed Tasklist:
- Drivering to deliver Luxury Experiences to guests, to achieve Heartbeat target
- Develop and update department SOPs (standard Operation Procedure), JD (Job description) and implement it to enhance the guest experience
- Overall responsible for ensuring and maintaining the entire range of services offered for the Club Rooms, Penthouses, Suites & Villas, and Club InterContinental Lounge with the aim to maximum guest satisfaction
- Inspects all VIP rooms prior to arrival
- Greet and farewell Club InterContinental guests/IHG Rewards Club/Ambassador members/VIPs personally
- Ensure to contact Club InterContinental guests/IHG Rewards Club/Ambassador members 3days prior to arrival via pre-arrival emails as per Resort standard
- Ensure to contact Club InterContinental guests/IHG Rewards Club/Ambassador members via post-departure emails after 1day of guest departure as per Resort standard
- Handle guest complaints and refer them as necessary, follows up on corrective action
- Review arrival list for all arrivals and VIPs to check room allocations, amenities, and special requests
- Review In-house list and brief the team to be aware of Club Intercontinental guests
- Review departure list and ensure that all guest bills are accurate before being sent by butlers to the guests – and to sign on Due Out Letters
- Monitor Butlers/Butler Supervisors to ensure maximum guest satisfaction through personal recognition and prompt cordial attention from arrival through departure for all Club Intercontinental section
- To manage and oversees the arrangement of amenities according to guest profile, preferences or special requests (i.e. Birthdays, Anniversaries, honeymooners, children, etc.)
- Must be able to anticipates guest’s needs and respond accordingly
- Attend to all guest requests in an efficient manner and communicate with the concerned departments in order to deliver satisfactory service
- Cooperate with Housekeeping in order to ensure room cleanliness as per InterContinental standards throughout guest stay
- Handling guest complaints and escalating the issue to superiors when necessary
- To be able to perform the highest level of butler service

Qualifications –
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hotel Administration, Hotel Management or equivalent
Experience –
Experience with in F&B, experience in Rooms will be an added advantage.
• 4 years of guest service / hotel experience with two years in a management capacity either in Rooms Division or Restaurant and Bars, or an equivalent combination of education and experience managing Club Lounge or similar/ related food and beverage outlets
• Type and level of experience required may vary slightly based on size and complexity of operation
